Do the shipping charges vary from city to city?

Can I track the package once it has been dispatched?

Yes. All orders can be tracked on our website and the Smart Afro app under ‘track my order’

Can you deliver to any country in the world?

Currently delivery is only made in and around South Africa. We however plan on expanding our delivery coverage to any country in the world in the near future.

What is the procedure to return a product, If I don't like it?

Please report the return to us within 24 hours of receiving the product. You may email us or call us and inform us the same. For more information on returning a product, please see our returns policy.

Will I get a full refund if I return the product?

Yes a full refund will be given for products returned provided that the returned product is still in its original packaging. In cases where the returned goods are not in their original packaging, the value of the refund will be under the sole discretion of Smart Afro.

Are there any charges for refunds, if I return an item?

There are no direct refund charges for returned items. We will however not refund the shipping charges paid by you while purchasing the item. We will not refund the customs duties or taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at time of receiving the goods.

Can I pay using my Debit card?

Yes, We do accept all major bank cards, credit/debit

How do I know that you have received my payments?

You will receive an email confirmation that we have received your payments along with your order number

My card is declined, What should I do?

Please re-check if you have given your card details correctly. If so, please contact your bank and explain to them that you are trying to purchase from an online store. Your bank might have blocked your card for security issues

Can I pay using 2 different cards for one order?

It’s not possible to pay using 2 cards for one order

Can I pay using bank transfer? Where do I get details of your bank account?

Yes, you can pay through a bank transfer. You can get our banking details on our website. Your order number should be used as the reference number

I do not have a Paypal account; Can I still transfer money to your account?

Yes. You can make a transfer directly into our account via EFT if you do not have a Paypal account

What is billing address?

The address where you receive your card statements is called billing address

What is shipping address?

The address where you would like your goods to be delivered is called the shipping address

Can billing address and shipping address be different?

Yes, you can give a different shipping address.

Are there any delivery charges?

We provide free delivery to order placement above R300 anywhere in South Africa.

What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?

This is a very rare circumstance. We have a huge warehouse that can hold a large number of products. But in the case that such a situation arises; our Support Team will inform you beforehand. We would either replace the product with a similar product or else cancel it, with all due permission from your side.

What happens if there is no one home when a delivery is attempted?

Our delivery person will deliver the product only on working days between 9 am – 5 pm. In any case that you or any other person is unavailable at the mentioned address, our call centre personnel will call you to fix a product delivery time.

Do I have to receive a delivery personally?

Not at all. Anyone can take receipt of the delivery order at the mentioned address. We will hand over the order to the person at the address who will have to sign the delivery document.

Can I track my order?

Yes you can. Once you place your order, we will send you an sms confirmation with your order number. You can track your order on our website under track my order using your order number.

What do I do if I wish to return something I purchased?

We understand that such situations may arise from time to time. Once you have accepted the delivery of the product, if you feel the need to return the item, you can always return it back within 7 days of delivery received. When returning the delivery, please make sure that the goods are returned with the original packaging along with the tags. Once we receive the delivery back, you will be provided with a credit note.

How do I buy a gift voucher?

Along with product ranges, we also provide gift voucher facility, which you can give to your loved ones.

Once you fill all the necessary information and the payment for your order is done, an email/sms will be send to you stating the message and gift voucher code.

How do I use a gift voucher?

When you buy a gift voucher, you will receive a unique code via email/sms. To use the gift voucher, on the payment gateway, select the option ‘Pay by gift certificate’.

Next, you will get the section Coupon Code Box; enter your Coupon Code here and the amount of the voucher and thus it will be deducted from the total purchased amount.
